Oral care is one of the most-missed parts of ward care, and patients who brush themselves do it out of sight. A Timertag QR code on Sage's Independent Care System (6004, 6403) records each brush with one tap after brushing. No typing, no app and no account.
Concept for discussion with Stryker Sage. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Stryker. Patient guidance follows Sage's protocol (brush 2–4 times a day, antiseptic rinse, soak dentures). Where the HAPPEN study's protocol differed, Sage's guidance is used; HAPPEN adds lip care, asking for help, moving around, clean hands, sipping water and involving family. Final wording would come from Sage and is fixed per product; nothing is set by the hospital. Translations and voice-assistant wording are drafts. In the product, brush times are kept against the card's code on the platform, so any phone that scans the card sees them; this demo keeps them in the browser. A second tap within 10 minutes of the last brush isn't counted; use "Skip ahead 4 hours" to show a later brush. The DataMatrix uses GS1's example GTIN and a random serial, with the last brush in internal AI (91) as YYMMDDHHMM, today's brush times in AI (92) as HHMM run together, and the last 7 days' counts in AI (93), oldest first.
